Stronger Retail Trade than Expected in the USA

Sales in retail trade in the USA increased by 0.7 percent in November compared to October, according to new statistics.

Analysts had expected an increase of 0.6 percent in November, according to Bloomberg's compilation of forecasts.

In October, retail trade increased by 0.5 percent.

Excluding vehicles and fuel, retail trade in the USA increased by 0.2 percent in November.
