Strömstad and surrounding areas were affected by a power outage lasting around two hours on Thursday. According to the electricity grid company Ellevio, over 8,000 customers were affected.
The company announced at 7 pm that all households had regained power.
The reason for the power outage is believed to be that a forest machine accidentally ran into a power line, says Sara Östberg, press spokesperson at Ellevio.
