The agreement for the pilots at Braathens was signed on Saturday. The collective agreement between the parties expired in March last year. Since then, negotiations have been ongoing and the parties have disagreed, among other things, on which company the pilots should be employed by.
The new agreement came into effect after a period of conflict notice and mediation.
"The agreement is good for both Braathens and the pilots and is better suited to the company's current operations. The cost increases are within the framework that the industry parties set for the 2025 bargaining round," says Linn Sidén, head of negotiations for the Swedish Aviation Industry, in a press release.
