Marcus Johansson scored the winning goal in overtime when Minnesota beat Nashville. With one of the strangest winning goals ever seen in NHL hockey.

"I didn't really know what was happening. I didn't know if we should celebrate or not," Johansson said of the 3-2 goal to the NHL website.

Nashville goalie Justus Annunen had just moved the goalie out of position when Johansson took a rebound from his own shot and fired again. The Swede didn't shoot the puck into the goal - but where the goalie would have been if Annunen hadn't already moved it.

The goal was approved.

"I didn't really know what the verdict would be. When the goal cage is moved like that, it's maybe the right thing to do. I'm grateful that I shot even though the goal wasn't there," says Johansson.

Minnesota was extremely close to securing the victory in regulation time, but Steven Stamkos managed to tie the game for Nashville with just 0.3 seconds left in the third period.
