On E4, there was a complete stop after a single-vehicle accident with a truck between Kila and Stavsjö, just north of Norrköping. One person has been taken to hospital with unknown injuries, according to the police.

Traffic has started moving again, but there are some disruptions to traffic flow.

South of Norrköping, two passenger cars have collided near Lövstad, and two people have been taken to hospital.

They assess it as serious injuries initially, says Älveroth and continues:

The patrol on site has witnessed extremely slippery road conditions.

The police are urging caution due to the current road conditions in Södermanland and Östergötland, where accidents have occurred in several places.

Be careful if you have to go out in traffic, says Älveroth.

There is a traffic stop on E20 north of Laxå in the direction of Örebro after a traffic accident, according to P4 Örebro. A passenger car has slid off the road and crashed into a guardrail. It is said to be very slippery at the scene, and follow-up accidents have occurred.

During Saturday morning, the rescue service in Jönköping County issued a warning to motorists, urging them to take it easy, reports Jönköpings-Posten.

It's icy on the roads, it's black ice, says the rescue service's operations leader to the newspaper.
