One person has been taken to hospital, awake and able to speak, says Johan Josarp, police officer on duty.
According to the Swedish Transport Administration's website, a truck and two cars were involved in the accident. It occurred at 5 p.m. on Sunday and stopped northbound traffic, according to Göteborgs-Posten .
According to the Swedish Transport Administration's forecast, there will be a very large impact on traffic until 6 p.m.
Two cars will be towed and the road will then be cleared by emergency services, says Josarp.
