Stockholm stock market falls as oil prices rise and Middle East tensions grow

On the large-cap OMXS30 list, live casino operator Evolution topped the list, up 3.3 percent, followed by defense group Saab, which rose 1.3 percent.

At the other end, industrial group Lifco fell the most, down 2.3 percent. Other losers included telecom operators Tele2 and Telia, down 2.2 and 2.0 percent respectively.

Since the turn of the year, the OMXS index has been up 4.9 percent.

At the close in Stockholm, the London stock exchange had fallen while Paris and Frankfurt were up. In New York, two of the three major indexes were up.
