Pre-trade points to slightly higher indices when Thursday trading begins at 9 a.m. This follows US futures pointing to an upward turn on Wall Street.
However, during overnight Asian trading, it was mostly down.
Oil has continued to rise slightly since yesterday. A barrel of North Sea oil costs $101 this morning.
