Among the heavyweights on the OMXS30 index, 27 out of 30 stocks closed on a plus. At the top were noted the private equity company EQT and the air heat pump manufacturer Nibe, both up 3.3 percent.
The three companies that declined were the telecom companies Tele2 and Telia, down 1.5 and 0.5 percent, respectively, and the defense group Saab, minus 1.2 percent.
Outside the large cap list, among other things, the vehicle supplier Bulten was noted, which reported a 7.2 percent decline after restructuring costs weighed on the latest quarter's results.
The specialty pharmaceutical company Oncopeptides continued its several-day-long surge and rose on Thursday by 43.1 percent. Also, the Stenbeck sphere's power company Kinnevik went well, up 9.1 percent.
Among the leading European stock exchanges, it was mixed. Up over one percent in London, slightly up in Paris and down in Frankfurt.
