Even more cheerful is the situation on the large company list OMXS30 which is up 1.6 percent. There, 27 out of a total of 30 companies are rising. At the top are Nibe and Hexagon which are increasing by 3.8 and 3.2 percent respectively. At the bottom of the index is Saab which is losing 2.2 percent.
Vehicle subcontractor Bulten is reporting a 8 percent decline after restructuring costs weighed on the latest quarter's result.
In the opposite direction is the online store Dustin which is rising 5 percent after its former major owner Altor has bought back into the stock.
Also on the continent, the mood is cheerful where the London Stock Exchange's FTSE 100 index, after an increase of 1 percent, has reached a new high level in terms of intraday price.
