The Stockholm Stock Exchange is largely unaffected by Monday night's decline in New York. Most of the companies on the OMXS30 list are in the red, with air heat pump manufacturer Nibe at the top, its share rising 3.0 percent. Index heavyweight H&M is up 1.9 percent.
In the opposite direction is Ericsson, one of the most traded stocks on the OMXS30 list; it is down 1.9 percent. The banking sector, which rose during yesterday's trading, is down, with Nordea the worst performer, its stock down 1.2 percent.
Among the smaller companies, contract manufacturer Hanza is seeing a sharp rise in its share price after, among other things, proposing an increased dividend in connection with the company's release of its financial statements. The share is up just over 25 percent.
There are small price movements on the leading European stock exchanges, and pre-market trading on Wall Street also indicates some recovery.
