During the morning trading it was weaker, down just over 1 percent. At lunchtime, Trump urged Israel and Iran to immediately cease firing, after a day of intense attacks between the countries.
Of the most traded stocks in Stockholm, telecom manufacturer Ericsson fell the most, down 1.7 percent. At the other end of the scale, telecom operator Telia was up 1.6 percent.
Along with the stock market's pause, the rise in oil prices slowed. North Sea oil was $94.7 per barrel, compared to just over $97 this morning.
At the close in Stockholm, the Frankfurt stock exchange was clearly down, while London and Paris were hovering around zero. In New York, all three major indexes were up.
