Boliden shares fall 5.6% after quarterly report as Stockholm stock market declines

In futures trading on Wall Street, technology stocks are rebounding.

But in Stockholm, the mining group Boliden is being punished with a 5.6 percent drop in its share price after its quarterly report.

Evolution's stock is down 3.1 percent after the games developer was hit with a termination fee following a scrapped merger agreement.

The US and Iran continue their war around the Persian Gulf, despite reports of mediation proposals. The Iran-backed Houthi movement in Yemen has also declared a naval blockade of Saudi Arabia.

The price of North Sea oil (Brent) rises 1.8 percent to $90.86 per barrel.

The Stockholm Stock Exchange's OMXS index has risen 4.1 percent since the turn of the year.
