Truck maker Scania's owner Traton is slowing the decline, with its share price up 6.6 percent after an interim report with unexpectedly strong order intake.
Another report winner is telecom equipment maker Nokia, up 4.2 percent.
Otherwise, the decline is broad, with 25 of 30 stocks in the OMXS30 index in the red. Reporting forestry company Stora Enso falls 5.5 percent.
