The Stockholm stock exchange appears to be turning slightly downwards, according to preliminary trading.

Yesterday, the stock players pointed upwards, in both Europe and the USA. This despite a certain concern that the politicians in the USA will not succeed in agreeing on the state budget, with the risk of shutdown of the state apparatus as a consequence. The dollar has weakened somewhat.

During the night's Asian trade, the leading indexes turned down.

The oil price has continued to be pressed as a result of signals of an increased supply. A barrel of North Sea oil now costs 67.50 dollars.

The gold price has continued up, to new record levels. In the morning, the price is at 3,869 dollars per ounce.
