Stockholm Stock Exchange ends 11-day losing streak as OMXS rises 0.3%

After an initial rise, the stock market turned negative in the afternoon - before turning around again.

On the OMXS30 list of the most traded stocks, mining equipment company Epiroc rose 3.4 percent. Live casino company Evolution and engineering company Sandvik rose 3 and 2.9 percent, respectively.

At the other end, defence group Saab and the Wallenberg sphere's venture capital company EQT fell 1.4 and 0.9 percent, respectively.

At the close in Stockholm, the stock exchanges in Frankfurt and Paris were down, while London was up. In New York, all three major indexes were down.

Despite ten previous days in the red and one day with an unchanged index, the Stockholm Stock Exchange has risen 8 percent since the turn of the year.
