The Stockholm stock exchange is turning downward after having started trading on plus on Monday. At lunchtime, the broad OMXS index has fallen back 0.2 percent.

Among the large companies, the defense group Saab is doing the best and has risen 3.2 percent. Next best is the live casino company Evolution, which is up 0.7 percent.

A majority of the companies on the OMXS30 are falling back and the worst is doing for the white goods giant Electrolux, which is minus 3.7 percent, and for Tele2, which has lost 1.6 percent.

The leading stock exchanges in Europe are also falling back cautiously after having started the week on plus in several cases.

In the pre-market trading on Wall Street, the leading indexes are fluctuating around plus 0.5 percent.

During the week, several trade agreements are expected to be presented. The major bank SEB writes in its morning letter on Monday that the start of the trading week may be "the calm before the storm" ahead of July 9, when the negotiation deadline for Trump's proposed trade tariffs expires.

A dollar costs 9.50 kronor on Monday and a euro 11.13 kronor.
