Stockholm Stock Exchange Rises 0.4 Percent at Tuesday Close

The Stockholm stock exchange began Tuesday trading cautiously downward but then took a small turn upward and finally landed on green. At closing, the broad OMXS-index was up 0.4 percent.

The development on the leading stock exchanges in Europe was in line with the Stockholm stock exchange.

On the large-cap list OMXS30 in Stockholm, the forestry group SCA took the lead and was up 2.3 percent. On the plus side, the air heat pump manufacturer Nibe was also traded, up 2.3 percent, and the investment company Kinnevik on plus 2.0 percent.

On the minus side, the clothing giant H&M, which lost 1.4 percent, and the defense group Saab on minus 1.1 percent.

The Stockholm stock exchange closed on Monday with a plus of 0.1 after a day of sluggish trade, and in the USA closed all indexes slightly up.

After a few hours of trading on Wall Street on Tuesday, the leading indexes are pointing downwards.

A dollar costs 9.67 kronor and a euro 10.88 kronor.
