Most of the companies on the OMXS30 index closed in the red. Engineering company SKF performed best, rising 2.3 percent. Industrial group Lifco also had a good day, rising 1.9 percent.
Live casino company Evolution went against the grain, losing 2.7 percent. Clothing giant H&M also fell, down 0.8 percent.
Developments on the leading European stock exchanges were mixed. Frankfurt and London rose while Paris fell, but the movements were small.
Oil prices rose slightly on Thursday but have since fallen back. A barrel of North Sea oil (Brent) now costs just over $106.
One euro costs 11.30 kronor while the dollar is quoted at 9.91 kronor.
