On the OMXS30 index, with the most traded shares, 26 out of 30 companies declined.
Against the trend was the defense group Saab, which rose 3.6 percent after the company received a new billion-order from the Defense Forces. At the bottom of the OMXS30 were the mining company Boliden and the clothing giant H&M, which lost 4.0 and 2.6 percent, respectively.
The engineering company ABB fell 2.0 percent after a cancelled buy recommendation from Kepler.
The retail chain Rusta rose 8.0 percent after the company reported a sales increase in the fourth quarter.
On the continent, there were also sour faces and the leading European stock exchanges fell. The declines in Frankfurt, London, and Paris were in line with the Stockholm stock exchange.
The Swedish krona is traded at 9.51 against the American dollar, while one euro costs 10.96 Swedish kronor.
