The Stockholm Stock Exchange has now fallen for ten days in a row, albeit at a moderate pace. Ahead of Wednesday's opening, pre-market trading on IG Markets, among others, points to a continued marginal decline both in Stockholm and on the major European exchanges.
Yesterday, the US stock markets also closed in the red, and futures trading is pointing to more losses when trading gets underway in earnest this afternoon.
Several stock markets in Asia are also falling. Tokyo is down more than 3 percent this morning, Swedish time.
The price of oil is fluctuating. This morning, a barrel of North Sea oil costs $91.50.
