At the close, the OMXS index had risen 1.2 percent.
Most of the companies on the OMXS30 index rose, with Volvo among the top performers, the vehicle manufacturer gaining 3 percent after Wednesday's loss. Air-source heat pump manufacturer Nibe, in turn, rose 3.1 percent and the stock thus continues to perform strongly; it has climbed about 15 percent in the past month.
In the opposite direction, in particular, went defence group Saab, which fell 2 percent.
During the morning, Clas Ohlson released new interim figures. The share rose 6.8 percent. The positive stock market climate prevails at the same time as the oil price continues to rise. A barrel of Brent crude cost just over 96 dollars at 5:30 p.m.
