The rise got an extra little boost on Monday afternoon after the reports that Iran sent a message to Israel and the USA to scale down the hostilities.

Most of the companies in OMXS30, the index of the most traded shares, closed on the plus side. It went best for the live casino company Evolution which rose over 8.5 percent after the company's CEO made a large purchase of the share.

The cloud service company Sinch also had a strong day and rose 6.8 percent.

At the bottom of the index, the pharmaceutical company Astra Zeneca ended up, which fell back 1.5 percent.

The leading European stock exchanges also rose, even if the increases were not quite as large as the Stockholm stock exchange.

On the Paris stock exchange, the vehicle group Renault and the Gucci owner Kering moved in different directions after it became known that Renault's CEO Luca de Meo is leaving the vehicle group for the CEO position at Kering. Renault fell just over 8 percent while Kering rose nearly 13 percent.

The krona is traded at 9.46 against the dollar and 10.96 against the euro.
