The Stockholm Stock Exchange fell slightly in early trading. The OMXS index was down 0.3 percent, with most of the OMXS30 companies in the red.
In the opposite direction, Ericsson was particularly active, recovering some of Tuesday's losses following the announcement of CEO Börje Ekholm's departure. The share rose 1.1 percent.
Outside the OMXS30, Volvo Cars fell 3.7 percent after German competitor BMW issued a profit warning, citing, among other things, reduced demand in the Chinese market.
