Since the outbreak of war in February, threats against exiled Iranians and American, Jewish and Israeli interests have increased.
Therefore, the police are now conducting an operation that gives the authority a more robust ability to detect and avert threats. This is done through increased collaboration with other authorities.

"That may be the case, because we have worked very actively to prevent anything from happening. But we cannot answer that at the moment," says Police Chief Annika Laestadius, and she continues:
We talk a lot about "crime as a service," where young people are "incited" to commit crimes on behalf of criminal networks. We deal with that, I would say, every week.
