Several boys, the youngest eleven years old, testified that they felt threatened into performing sexual acts and sending pictures to the man via Snapchat.
The man worked as a police officer in the Stockholm area. He was sentenced in Södertörn District Court on Friday to five years in prison for rape of children on two occasions, sexual assault of children on twelve occasions, exploitation of children for sexual posing on ten occasions, and sexual molestation of children on six occasions. He was also convicted of child pornography offences on 18 occasions.
The man has denied any wrongdoing. According to the verdict, the investigation indicates that he actively sought contact with children and initiated chats with sexual content.
