The offences are said to have been committed between 2020 and 2025, including in the man's own home but also in other places.
The police officer is also charged with possession of around 1,500 files of child pornography and two counts of sexual acts against animals.
Among the evidence are excerpts from chats where the man allegedly talked about the abuse and shared child pornography.
The man denies the charges.
