25,000 runners have registered for this year's marathon party in central Stockholm. But with hours left until the start, the race website crashed.
"I know they are working on it and identifying the cause. It is, of course, a high load and we have prepared for different types of scenarios," says Sebastian Wallin, communications manager at Marathongruppen, just before the start.
I am hopeful and believe it will be resolved soon.

Wallin says that information about the app has been communicated, but the official Facebook page lacks information about the crash just before the start.
But we have posted on Instagram Stories, says Wallin.
It looks like it will be a sunny race with a temperature just above 20 degrees.
Listen to your own body and run your own race and you will be fine. We will do everything we can to provide the best possible conditions along the way, too. I hope that the people of Stockholm will come out into the streets and cheer them on, says Wallin.
