The Stockholm District Court is to pay a penalty of 2.5 million kronor for deficiencies in its work on security protection, writes the Security Service (Säpo) in a press release.

Säpo had wanted to demand 7 million from the court, but after the decision was appealed, the Administrative Court has now lowered the amount.

It was in connection with a supervisory case in 2022 that Säpo decided to impose a penalty on the Stockholm District Court, since it was found that the court lacked a security protection analysis.
