The gainers among the most traded stocks on the OMXS30 list were technology trading company Addtech and major bank Nordea, both up 1.2 percent.
At the other end of the scale were mining equipment company Epiroc and measurement technology company Hexagon, down 1.7 and 1.3 percent respectively.
The rise was broad, with 24 of the 30 OMXS30 stocks in positive territory.
At the close in Stockholm, the stock exchanges in Frankfurt, London and Paris had also risen, as had all three major indices in New York.
In Stockholm, both the broad index and the large-cap list closed at record levels.
The OMXS index rose 1.3 percent during the week and has increased 10.4 percent since the turn of the year.
During the week, OMXS30 rose 1.3 percent and has climbed 15.6 percent so far this year.
