Best among the most traded stocks in the OMXS30 index was the real estate company SBB and the pharmaceutical company Astra Zeneca, up 3.2 percent respectively. The heat pump manufacturer Nibe fell simultaneously by 4.1 percent.
Outside of OMXS30, the eyewear chain Synsam plummeted 5.1 percent following a quarterly report.
It was generally downward on leading Asian stock exchanges during the night to Friday, but indices in Frankfurt, London, and Paris rose.
The global market price of crude oil stabilized after new declines on Thursday. A futures contract for delivery of Brent oil next month was just over 64 dollars per barrel.
The Stockholm Stock Exchange's OMXS index rose 3.4 percent during the past week, and counted from the turn of the year, the exchange has gone up 1.5 percent.
