Before the stock market opened, there had been reports from, among others, game developer Embracer and energy technology group Nibe. Nibe's shares rose 5.6 percent. Embracer, however, was even stronger - up 18.7 percent.
Among the bigger losers were helmet technology company Mips, which fell over 10 percent, and SSAB, down 4.6 percent.
On European stock exchanges, trading was mixed, with London and Frankfurt down 0.8 and 0.1 percent respectively, while Paris rose 0.3 percent.
On Wednesday, the OMXS index fell 0.3 percent. Since the beginning of the year, the stock market has gained 3.9 percent.
