Pharmaceutical manufacturer AstraZeneca, one of the heavyweights on the Stockholm Stock Exchange, is down 0.7 percent following its financial results for 2025.
Among the drivers of the rise are Skanska, which rose 1.3 percent after a multi-billion order in London, and the Wallenberg sphere's venture capital firm EQT, up 1.6 percent.
Wall Street ended Monday higher, with a technology boost that pushed major indexes to record highs.
This was followed by gains on major Asian stock exchanges. The Tokyo Stock Exchange rose just over 2 percent after Monday's rally, which followed Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi's convincing victory in the Japanese election over the weekend.
The OMXS index rose 0.5 percent on Monday. Since the beginning of the year, the index has risen 5.3 percent.
