At the close, the broad OMXS index rose 0.2 percent, enough to keep the upward trend alive.
At the top of the OMXS30 companies is forestry group SCA, up 2.4 percent, while Saab moved in the opposite direction, down 3.5 percent.
Pharmaceutical giant AstraZeneca, which presented its financial results this morning, rose 1.5 percent.
Among the smaller companies, the most noticeable move was a sharp decline in clothing company Nelly. Today's interim report drew a thumbs-down and the share fell about 40 percent at the close. Despite the drop, the share has risen more than 100 percent in the past 12 months.
The leading European stock exchanges showed a similar trend with small price changes. Frankfurt closed down 0.1 percent, Paris rose 0.2 percent and London fell 0.3 percent.
