Stockholm Stock Exchange ends week unchanged

The Stockholm Stock Exchange closed unchanged on Friday. Gambling company Betsson had a tough day.

Among the most traded stocks, mining group Boliden and measurement technology company Hexagon fell 3.9 and 1.4 percent, respectively.

Defense group Saab rose 1.8 percent. Engineering company Atlas Copco rose 1.7 percent, following a buy recommendation from Nordea's analysts.

Gambling company Betsson plunged 21.1 percent after a profit warning.

At the close in Stockholm, the stock exchanges in Frankfurt, London and Paris had all fallen slightly. On Wall Street in New York, markets were slightly up.

At the same time, geopolitical unrest is simmering in the market, after Fox News reported that a US aircraft carrier is moving to the Middle East following recent concerns about Iran.

Since the turn of the year, the Stockholm Stock Exchange has been up 4 percent.
