She says she spoke with her Israeli counterpart, the foreign minister, to "express the expectation that the rights of Swedish citizens will be met."
To her knowledge, there are Swedes in the convoy of ships boarded by Israel in international waters off Crete. However, there will be no help from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
"If you, as a Swede, choose to participate in the flotilla, you are taking a conscious risk," she says in a written statement.
