Financially pressured Stegra has previously said that the company needs an additional 10 billion kronor to afford the completion of the factory in Boden. According to Dagens Industri, that amount has now increased significantly, to around 20 billion kronor, according to sources cited by the newspaper.
Investors will meet on Wednesday.
Karin Hallstan, press manager at Stegra, declined to confirm any meeting or to comment on the new figures.
She reiterated that the financing round is continuing. "We expect we will need until the end of the quarter to be ready," she wrote in a text message to TT.
