A year in the Saudi league with al-Nassr was enough for Stefano Pioli. Now the 59-year-old returns to Serie A football and Fiorentina, a club he previously both played in and coached.
Pioli has written a contract that extends until 2028.
The Italian - together with, among others, Zlatan Ibrahimovic - took Milan back to the league top a few years ago. The five years in Milan were crowned with the Serie A gold in the 2021-2022 season.
Fiorentina finished sixth in the league in the spring and qualified for the Europa Conference League.
