State taken to the European Court of Justice over Falcon Funds tangle

Last winter, the Supreme Court (HD) chose not to review a Court of Appeal ruling that exonerated the state from responsibility for the Pensions Authority's actions.

The people behind Falcon Funds were sentenced to prison for siphoning billions from the pension system using forged documents.

Now, individual pension saver Daniel Edencrona, who is seeking compensation for his losses, and the Center for Justice have filed a complaint with the European Court of Justice, accusing the state of failing in its obligations.
