It was an expected message. Both father LeBron James and LA Lakers have said that the 20-year-old needs to work more on his game.
Bronny James had a cardiac arrest last summer and only played sporadically during the college season thereafter. Despite this, he was selected in the summer's draft in the second round by Lakers.
LeBron and Bronny James became the first father and son to play together in the NBA.
Bronny James' first match in the G-League can be Saturday's match against Salt Lake City Stars and it is said to have been sold out directly after the message that young James is moving to South Bay Lakers.
