The recording of this year's edition of SVT's Christmas and New Year's program "Stjärnorna på slottet" is now starting at Bäckaskogs Castle in Skåne.

Living in the present
Artist colleagues Lasse Kronér and Lotta Engberg have known pop star E-type for some time. Actor Johan Hedenberg is a new acquaintance, as is swimmer Sarah Sjöström.

I'm just living in the present. I've never seen a program I'm in or celebrated a gold record. I'm always trying to create something new.
"Stjärnorna på slottet" is known for the participants not only talking about the good moments in their careers but also reflecting on the downs in life. E-type is prepared for this.
Yes, I think so. I don't think my mistakes are so serious that it will be difficult when they come to the surface. I was young and foolish when some things happened and I've covered up some things. So I feel calm.
Eight children
The biggest problem has otherwise been how E-type is going to manage to record the program. The balance between artistic career and family life is harder than ever. He is married to Melinda Jacobs and has many children at home.
My wife has three biological daughters before her fourth daughter who I am the father of, Izadora, who is two and a half years old. Then we have four family-placed children.
So we have eight children, two adults and a dog. There is no car in Sweden that we can fit in, says E-type and laughs.
