The statement, signed by world number ones Jannik Sinner and Aryna Sabalenka among others, criticises the fact that players are receiving an increasingly smaller share of the Grand Slam tournament's total revenue.
In 2025, revenue increased by 14 percent, but prize money rose by only 5.4 percent.
The total prize money has been increased by almost ten percent since last year, but the players' group believes that it is not enough.
A total of 61.7 million euros (approximately 670 million kronor) will be paid out in prize money this year. Among other things, the singles winners in Paris will each receive 2.8 million euros (approximately 30 million kronor).
