18-year-old Henry Nowak was stabbed in Southampton in December. Despite being badly injured, police handcuffed him as he bled to death.

Since the recent release of police body-camera footage, the case has been politicized, with sometimes-violent protests over alleged anti-white racism by the police.

Tech billionaire Elon Musk has joined the protests. In a post on X, he claims that police policies force them to act "racist against whites," angering Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

"Musk has tried to interfere in our politics in recent days and tried to sow division," Starmer said on Thursday, according to British media.

23-year-old Vickrum Digwa was sentenced to life in prison for the murder of Nowak.
