This week's major, the British Open, was the last chance for the European players to secure a place on the team without relying on any of the four "wildcards" that European captain Anna Nordqvist is allowed to hand out.
Grant missed the qualifying cut-off at the British Open, while Stark finished in 36th place at Royal Lytham & St Annes in England.
On Monday, Nordqvist will announce her four captain's picks for the team, which consists of a total of 12 players.
Other qualified European players: Lottie Woad (England), Charley Hull (England), Celine Boutier (France), Esther Henseleit (Germany), Carlota Ciganda (Spain), Nanna Koerstz Madsen (Denmark).
The Solheim Cup will be played in the Netherlands from September 11-13.
