Actress Claudia Black is leaving the Star Wars series "Ahsoka", which is a spinoff of "The Mandalorian", after the first season, reports NME.

The actor, known from "Stargate SG-1" and "Pitch Black", states that a salary dispute with Disney forced her to refuse to continue, writes NME.

The reason is that the series was still supposed to be filmed in London, but to cope with life as a single mother in Los Angeles, Claudia Black needed higher compensation. When Disney did not want to meet her salary demands, she chose to leave.

Black describes the whole thing as “very sad” and thanks series creator Dave Filoni for letting her be a part of the “Star Wars” universe. Despite the disappointment, she is aware of the industry’s economic situation: “It’s 90 percent business and 10 percent show.”

Season two of "Ahsoka" is expected in 2026 at the earliest.
