The United States has suffered a setback ahead of the Olympic ice hockey tournament. Defenseman Seth Jones, a Stanley Cup champion with Florida, will miss the games in Milan due to injury.

The USA has selected Jackson LaCombe, of Anaheim, as a replacement. LaCombe was part of the team that won the World Championship gold for the USA last year - the USA's first World Championship gold since 1933.

Seth Jones, 31, was injured when he was hit in the collarbone by a shot in the Winter Classic against the New York Rangers on Jan. 2 and hasn't played since.

The USA, which lost to Canada in the Four Nations final last season, will face Latvia in their first match on February 12, and also have Germany and Denmark in the same group.
