According to AP, the bowl is heavily dented and has also got a crack.

A spokesperson for the Hockey Hall of Fame says that the cup's responsible will make sure that the bowl is repaired for the victory parade on Sunday.

According to the local newspaper Miami Herald, the cup bowl was taken when the team partied during the night to Wednesday at a bar in Fort Lauderdale together with supporters and the party continued then during Wednesday.

An image in the newspaper shows how defensive star Forsling together with forward star Matthew Tkachuk, who shot the cup-winning goal, pours beer from the bowl over supporters.

Florida secured the Stanley Cup win for the second year in a row after a win on home ground against Edmonton in the sixth match during the night to Wednesday.

The 131-year-old and classic Stanley Cup bowl has been subjected to rough treatment over the years, been down in the Atlantic and has been thrown down into swimming pools.

When Victor Hedman's Tampa Bay held a boat parade in 2021, for example, the bowl was dropped into the water.
