It was set to be a great discus evening in Karlstad between Kristjan Ceh and home favourite, world champion Daniel Ståhl.
Ståhl had a tough evening, however. Five of his six throws were disallowed, and his only valid result was 66.86 metres. Victory instead went to Kristjan Ceh at 67.43.
The first throw was around 69 metres, but I overstepped. I'm a little short on legwork today in the middle of the circle, and that's what I'm going to work on now before the Swedish Championships, says Ståhl.
I feel like a Ferrari in my body, driving into a ditch.
Norwegian Ola Stunes Isene came third with 57.74.
