+ Walker Perseus Karlström had a tough race over 35 km and was wheeled away in a wheelchair after the finish. Now the Swede is said to have recovered and be ready for 20 km – a distance where he has European Championship gold, World Championship silver and two World Championship bronze medals.

+ Daniel Ståhl won the discus final at the World Championship in Budapest in a brilliant manner and will now try to defend his World Championship title in Tokyo – at the arena where he won Olympic Games gold in 2021.

+ Three Swedish shot putters, Fanny Roos, Axelina Johansson and Sara Lennman, are qualifying and may have the final later in the day.
