It doesn't seem to be a huge success – judging by the reactions in South Korea. On Thursday, the sequel to the popular TV series Squid Game premiered on Netflix.
However, the mediocre reception of the second season among some critics pressed down the stock prices for several South Korean companies that have worked with the series.
But at the same time, American Netflix is saved by another piece of news, a real touchdown on Christmas Day. The streaming giant noted a viewing record when they broadcast American football, spiced with a half-hour show by superstar Beyonce.
Before the opening on Wall Street, the Netflix share falls slightly in advance trading.
