After Harry Kane left Tottenham, the London club has had a hard time finding a natural replacement for the striker.
But now they may have finally found the right one.
On Saturday, the club presented their new striker in the form of Dominic Solanke. The Englishman joins from Bournemouth, after his successful season last year.
Solanke scored 19 goals in the Premier League last season, and was one of the league's absolute best strikers.
Something that did not go unnoticed, and now Tottenham has broken the bank to bring in the 26-year-old.
According to Transfermarkt, the price tag is set at a whopping 64.3 million euros, which corresponds to just over 738 million kronor. The transfer is so far the most expensive in the world during the summer window of 2024.
The contract is written until the summer of 2030.
