"The rollout will take place during the remaining months of 2026," the company writes in a press release.
It has been three years since Spotify first started offering audiobooks on its platform. Today, its catalog has more than 800,000 titles.
Alongside the expansion, a new catalog of audiobooks in local languages is being created, including Spanish, Portuguese and Italian. In total, it covers more than 120 languages.
